I told you about how I bought this Cane Chair on Craigslist the other day for $45. I’ve been seeking fabrics to recover the chair with and I finally found EXACTLY what I need from Spoonflower. I’m SO excited to debut the fabric I picked out for my chair!!
Here’s the current state of the ugly chair in all it’s poop brown glory. See the straw piping along the bottom of the chair? Consider that gone when I get my hands on this chair. Not pretty.
Forgive me, I’m just NOT a brown fan. This chair has a MAJOR makeover in it’s near future, which involves a bright white coat of paint, some light blue antiquing on the arms and legs, and some of this gorgeous new fabric to add some pizzazz and color to my already bright and happy craft room!
Hello, beautiful! The colors accent all the papers and bunting I’ve already included in the room and who doesn’t love chevron? It’s very “in” right now and the pattern will look great in my room. I couldn’t have found anything more perfect. I bought the fabric off Spoonflower, which actually hand prints the designs onto your choice of fabric. I went with a simple cotton fabric for the chair. I bought 2 yards. I can’t wait to get it. I’m thinking of ordering this pillow from Little Miss Momma for a back pillow. Do you think it would look ok together? I’m still deciding. I’d like to mix a pattern with a floral for this chair and I’m thinking this is a fresh fun look.
Thoughts?
I’m hoping to get this chair wrapped up in the next few weeks and get my craft room into some sort of workable shape by mid-October.

When my husband and I moved into our house nearly 4 years ago, we knew that one of the biggest things that we’d have to tackle and tackle FAST was our Master Bathroom makeover. Our master bathroom is tiny you guys, like…closet tiny, but we were ok with that knowing that we had the chance…
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Sauder. The opinions and text are all mine. Several years ago I fixed up a spare room in my basement and turned it into my craft room. Luckily for me, the previous owners had left two filing cases and an awesome built in desk…
I finished up another wreath this week. I feel like it’s still too early to adorn my door with my Candy Corn Wreath. I kind of made my own interpretation of a yarn wreath I found on Home Stories A2Z and I loved it. I think mine turned out really pretty, although I didn’t care…
I’m a little behind on my Valentine’s Day wreath making, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to come up with something fun for the big day. After all, one of my favorite colors is pink, so I had to find the most appropriate day of the year to do an all pink wreath! Although the…
This post is sponsored by HomeRight, all thoughts, words, and opinions are my own. Last year I found this adorable wooden sled for $5 at a local thrift store and I decided to snatch it up for a little Christmas crafting. The problem that I think many of us face this time of the year…
